POSITION SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the administration of total rewards programs, ensuring they are competitive and support Chiquita’s ability to attract, motivate and retain employees. Provides support for global Total Rewards by performing data analysis, job evaluations, global survey participation, market pricing/benchmarking, process improvement initiatives and database administration. Participates in process and program implementation and communication, as well as other projects that are related.
S/he collaborates within HR to ensure the effective, efficient and consistent provision of Total Rewards; manages role/responsibilities with a focus and emphasis on customer service, internal equity, consistency, compliance and streamlined execution; identifies areas of opportunity within the global Total Rewards function and recommends/ implements solutions; identifies and influences key stakeholders; identifies self as key contact within HR for business units; and works in all areas of human resources, as needed.
Assists in the development, implementation and administration of company Total Rewards philosophy, programs, processes and tools to best achieve the organization’s objectives.
Provides analytical support to various types of Total Rewards programs.
Administrator for global market-pricing system.
Assist with facilitating and executing Chiquita’s global Job Evaluation Design Process.
Participates in global surveys and ensures that resulting market data is loaded into market-pricing system and/or HRIS system.
Uses survey data to analyze market trends and to develop global salary ranges and global merit budgets.
Assists with annual salary plan process and plans as requested from HR business partners.
Participates in the communication and implementation of Total Rewards programs.
Acts as a business partner, providing guidance and solutions to HR managers on issues related to Total Rewards; ensuring consistent and sound practices.
Participates in and may lead segments of projects that impact Total Rewards areas such as HRIS upgrades, tools for managers or employees, redesign of compensation and benefits programs, incentives, processes, etc.
Assists with managing the global expatriate program including budgeting and cost forecasting, policy administration, employee and vendor relationships,
Provide support to Total Rewards process improvement efforts. Identify areas within function to be streamlined/ simplified etc.
Create and maintain project plans and timelines and follow-up on details and associated deliverables.
Maintains compensation and benefit related tables in HRIS system.
Provide support to global Total Rewards team.
Other project work as assigned.
This position requires a minimum 3 years experience in any of the following or related areas: compensation administration, job evaluation and/or market pricing. Experience with international and/or expatriate compensation & benefits desired.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance or related field
Certified Compensation Professional – CCP (preferred)

Ability to travel 10%
