Job Description:
We are seeking Analyst candidates for its Oakland and Los Angeles offices. As part of our team-oriented approach, Analysts work closely with staff economists to provide in-depth economic analysis of the relevant issues in each matter. While each project presents a different set of challenges, Analysts can generally expect to perform extensive data analyses, conduct industry research, and review case evidence.
The data and research skills gained with us serve as highly effective preparation for graduate studies, particularly in the fields of economics, business, law, and public policy. Our Analysts have gone on to pursue graduate studies at programs such as:
Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management, MBA
Harvard Law School, JD
UC Berkeley, Economics, Ph.D.
New York University, MPP
QUALIFICATION
Ideal candidates will have or be working towards a bachelor’s degree in economics or a related field (e.g., math, business, public policy, statistics), a strong quantitative background, research experience, proven teamwork skills, exemplary organizational abilities, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
