We currently seek a Biologist to work with the senior intellectual property team within our analytics department. Overview of Responsibilities:
Assist with complex scientific issues in intellectual property due diligence and litigation analysis.
Review issued patent portfolios for senior intellectual property team to assist in patent analysis.
Analyze patent applications with clarity and technical accuracy.
Review scientific and regulatory data to assist in infringement and validity assessments.
Prepare written correspondence (reports, updates, and notes) for senior intellectual property staff to incorporate into competitive intelligence and analysis provided to client.
Communicate with customers on complex scientific matters and works internally with research staff, intellectual property team, and senior executives.
Research international scientific, regulatory and legal information for global service offering.

Ability to provide quality client service to both internal and external contacts.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others in a cooperative manner to accomplish position functions and participate in team efforts.
Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, or Biochemistry or related field required. Master's degree or PhD in applicable subject matter with interest in intellectual property preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of increasingly responsible, directly related experience during which knowledge, skills and abilities applicable to the position were demonstrated•
