Primary Duties & Responsibilities Are:

Provide requirements functional analysis and integration design for new. updated. or upgraded GCCS-M to include components.systems. networks (in development). and support for program transition.
Prepare test and evaluation plans. procedures and perfom1 analysis for modifying GCCS-M components in development integrate components into baseline systems and networks, and evaluate post-integration performance; support software and hardware testing; automate and author test scripts for s/w development; provide technical support to Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) including developing and updating Software Trouble Reports
(STRs); evaluate post-installation performance effects; and support integration testing to evaluate, document, and
provide recommended changes.
Software Release Support
Provide support for the implementation, integration, test and evaluation, hardware maintenance, and users training for upgrades to existing systems, including participation in engineering meetings and documentation preparation and review.
Provide systems engineering support for operation of developmental systems at SSC Pacific, afloat and ashore operational sites, including supporting the operation and administration of systems consisting of PCs, workstations, servers, LANs, routers, switches,. firewalls, security devices, and communications devices, Analyze, identify, recommend and implement COTS, GOTS, and NDI.
Information Security Support
Provide security and information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment (lAVA) compliance and performance testing to include measurement/analysis of system development integration environment.

Experience in any of the following:
Integration, testing, implementation, configuration. and troubleshooting (GCCS-M ) 4.0.3.x; and GCCS-M FL 4.1.x.x and GCCS-M UL 4.1.x.x. Desired (3) years recent (since 2009) experience with GCCS-M software segments.
Recent (since 2009) expenencc with GCCS Family of Systems (FoS), specifically GCCS-M/J and Common PC Operating System Environment (COMPOSE).
System administration skills in Solaris 8/10, Window Server 2003/2008, and Windows XP/7.
Writing UNIX Shell Scripts, Perl, Java, and SQL for software package development of GCCS-M/J and COMPOSE.
Assembly, test and troubleshooting of GCCS components wit h various COMPOSE variants.
Evaluating, analyzing, planning, designing, integrating, and testing GCCS-M and GCCS-J systems, subsystems, and components. Specialized experience must include the following: AN/USQ-153, 172, 183. 184. 187, Navy computer hardware systems; GCCS-M 4.0.3.x; and GCCS-M FL 4.1.x.x and GCCS-M UL 4.1.x.x baselines; GCCS-J 184.108.40.206. GCCS-J 220.127.116.11 and GCCS-J 18.104.22.168 baselines: COM POSE 3.0.x, 3.5 and 4.0 baselines: ATCA compliant blade server technologies to include rack mounted and storage array devices.
