We are looking for an Analytics Developer for our DXM group (Developer Experience and Marketplace). This individual will be responsible for developing tools and data repositories to support analytics business intelligence (BI) for our DX (Developer Experience) platform. The role involves building custom internal tools to analyze big data, developing ETL's, making aggregated data available to other teams, and investigating data quality issues.
Now is your opportunity to apply your LAMP and Ruby web development skills at the enterprise level in a full-time role. During every minute, there are millions of Nokia mobile devices around the world downloading applications and content through Nokia growing ecosystem of web services. Your challenge is to develop and improve the systems that can quickly digest many GB of raw data from many different sources into vital and timely information for our publishers, partners, and coworkers. You will be working on critical data projects that have visibility far beyond the audience size of most startups. You will have to invent clever solutions for large scale problems. And you will have to do it in Ruby, and maybe some PHP too.
Nokia offers an intelligent team environment, keen on using Open Source technologies, and very welcoming of the knowledge and ideas you have to offer.
Our culture is founded on openness, collaboration and honesty, with colleagues who are brilliant in their field, resilient, and above all, strive for the best. One team, where everyone makes a difference and everyone is heard. We care. Even in tough times. We are driven by a better tomorrow, not just by past success. We make great products and services for millions of people, positively improving their daily lives. We are on a path where simplicity and "thinking big" can lead to great things.
