An existing Sr. Consultant has been promoted to Sales Engineer, hence the reason for this Sr. Analytics Consultant opportunity. In this role, you will work with clients to define needs and use enterprise data analytic software to improve service provider customer experience, reduce costs, and increase revenues; involving continual interaction with client consultants and project managers.

Responsibilities:
  • Understanding client's technical needs and discovering their source of pain; identify business problem and resolutions
  • Driving project tasks to completion, following the approved implementation methodology
  • Translating customer requirements into configured solution, which may include:
  • Documenting requirements
  • Developing high level design documents
  • Creating a prototype solution
  • Serving as a customer interface point and communicate effectively with customer
  • Executing tasks with minimal supervision
  • Raising issues to customer management as appropriate
  • Adhering to internal administrative processes
  • Delivering end customer technical training & documentation
  • Mentoring and coaching other consultants
  • Travel fluctuates 50% or less; closer to 50% for the first 12 months; closer to 0% for Denver based consultants the first year
Skills Required to Succeed:
  • 5+ years of experience implementing enterprise software solutions as a lead consultant (all in analytics)
  • Demonstrated data analytics proficiency
  • Can work independently to identify and resolve resource issues without having to ask project manager for help each time, i.e., where is the data, how do I get it, and who do I need to approach/convince to eliminate bottlenecks to the data?
  • Experience in both agile and classic "waterfall" implementations
  • Ability to drive a problem through to resolution
  • Strong communication and customer management skills how many years in customer facing role
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • US Citizenship is required with residence close to a major US Hub with direct flights to Denver, CO (i.e. Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago)
Highly Desirable Skills:
  • Telco industry experience, i.e., order to build to provisioning flow; fraud prevention, revenue assurance, OSS, BSS, etc. knowledge
  • Programming language, i.e., Java, Python, or Perl or .NET development
