They are changing the way that colleges are using the social web to engage their students. The social fit at school has been a much undervalued piece of the puzzle in problems around student retention and yield. Nationally 40% of students who enroll in school do not complete their degree. $8 Billion dollars of federal money is spent sending students to school who never graduate. With the rise of online education, traditional institutions need to compete for students like never before. And online programs need better ways to replicate the kind of social community that traditional students experience.
You'll be building apps from the ground up that will be used by hundreds of thousands of students to help them find their best school.
Work with their design team as they iterate on this new product.
Own their existing app and help them continue development.
Experience developing, releasing, and maintaining native Java Applications (point us to your apps on Google Play).
Deep understanding of the Android SDK.
