The Annuity & Insurance Coordinator is primarily responsible for the payout of annuity, insurance, and 401(k) commissions to Financial Advisors. The position requires detailed research, maintenance of commission schedules, and assistance on questions or concerns that may arise. The associate will be expected to learn the other areas of the department and assist those areas when needed. The Annuity & Insurance Department is looking for an individual who is driven, forward thinking, and willing to take on new challenges and opportunities. The Annuity & Insurance Coordinator will be responsible for working with other members of the department to identify process improvements, technological enhancements, and execute on those ideas.


Research and makes necessary entries for electronic and physical commissions

Perform month end adjustments for various teams of Financial Advisors

Maintain up to date commissions schedules for each insurance carrier

Run ad hoc reports using internal databases

Identify opportunties for departmental improvements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience

Experience in brokerage operations or related field desired; preferably at least two years experience in the annuity and insurance industry

Attention to detail and the ability to process a heavy workload under strict time constraints are critical requirements

Ability to cooperatively work in a team setting

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Technically proficient in Word and Excel
