Antenna Test Engineer - Palm Bay, FL

Provide leadership and technical expertise in antenna-related test development activities associated with next-generation United States Air Force, Navy, Army and/or Marine SATCOM Terminals, including requirements analysis and technology maturation (i.e. novel reflector/feed solutions). Feeds and optics test will target S-, C-, X-, Ku-, and Ka- and Q-bands, and multi-band terminals for SOTM (SATCOM On The Move). Emphasis on Phased Array antennas.
Provide technical expertise in active phased array test for land, air and spaced based applications. Take responsibility for the test planning, integration, execution, and post analysis of the phased array antenna in support of radar and communication applications.
Ability to use MATLAB, C, or other software to generate test scripts. Experience with antenna positioner controllers and VNAs.
Work with other engineers as a team member in solving multi-disciplinary problems. Document and present results of analyses/testing to peers and customers
Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 8 years practical experience in the testing of arrays, reflector antenna and reflector feeds.
Minimum 2 years performing lead antenna test engineering roles.
Preferred Additional Skills:
MS Electrical Engineering
Understanding of typical testing and measurement philosophies.
Ability to work individually or in teams.
Ability to present to customers and internal leadership.
