We are seeking dynamic, results-oriented leaders for three of our Global Apparel Market Segments (swimwear, socks and Activewear) responsible for driving overall long term strategy & vision, evolving brand equity and identifying new opportunities to maximize long term business performance. Working closely with the global Sales, Marketing and Technical teams, this role will provide leadership in the origination, development, and launch of a series of programs to deliver profitable growth for the segment.
Analyze market point of view (POV) including market share, growth and penetration of INVISTA products and services as well as shifts in value chain flows or key decision makers.
Lead the annual development of the 5 year global segment plans that lays out the vision, strategy, and tactics / programs for the segment consistent with Apparel’s growth targets. Develop the plan with input from Sales, Marketing and Technical and insure communication of the final plan to all members of the Apparel business that serve/support the segment.
Develop the product / business model innovation plan for the segment considering all innovations that would be profitable for INVISTA to provide.
Create innovative marketing programs & services that enable the commercial organization to extract maximum value from our offerings and develop enthusiasm, preference and ultimately specification for our products throughout the value chain.
Create metrics and dashboards to track the performance and profitability of the segment and communicate with key internal stakeholders. Develop a view of total segment investment (product line, personnel and A&P) and develop metrics that help us understand the return on differentiation investment.
Perform all of the above while ensuring the highest level of ethics and 100% compliance with all applicable laws. Develop an open environment where the extended team are comfortable to challenge and to communicate potential risks
In all areas of responsibilities must have:
Ability to manage multiple business priorities simultaneously and to lead extended teams by influence management.
Good analytical skills, an entrepreneurial approach and demonstrated experience to use good economic thinking to identify business opportunities, formulate strategies and deliver results.
Strong networking and communication skills, interpersonal, written and oral in a global business environment.
Experience & Skills Required:
4 year college degree or 5 years equivalent sales, marketing, or brand mangement related work experience.
At least 5 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing or Product / Market development with a branded product line.
Experience & Skills Desired:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Product/Brand Management, Engineering, Sales or related Business discipline.
Textile industry experience in the value chain in a sales, marketing, product / business development or purchasing / trading role.
Experience in using digital marketing technologies to execute B2B and B2C marketing programs.
Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time, with occasional international travel when necessary.
