As the Application Administrator on our 20 person Infrastructure team, you will be focused on the support and administration of our business systems across Land, Timber, Corporate, and Manufacturing systems. You will be involved with virtual infrastructure, backup, application deployment on Windows Servers and system monitoring. You will be supported and encouraged to continuously improve both your technical and soft-skills.

As the Application Administrator your duties encompass the following:

• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot critical business systems for the enterprise.
• Configure and administer both virtual and physical servers.
• Communicate with management, architects, technical teams, and business partners on all aspects of technology delivery (e.g. planning, testing, implementation, crisis management, technology standards and processes).
• Follow and uphold Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes.
• Maintain Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)-related internal audit compliance.

Additional Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field, or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.
-Technical certification(s) preferred. Examples include: MCP, CCNA and/or others.

-Minimum of two years of relevant information technology experience required. -Server administration experience administering networked systems in a virtual environment is preferred.

Required Skills:
-Administer Microsoft Server 2003/2008 systems.
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Windows security best practices.
-Thorough understanding of networking layers.
-Experience documenting system build and troubleshooting steps.
-Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
-Demonstrated ability to work with diverse cross-functional teams
