What We’re Looking for:|
The Application Advisor will assist in reviewing applications and notifying prospective students and Admissions Counselors about missing application items. This is a key role in the success of the Admissions teams.
What We Need from You :
Upon submission, contact applicant to schedule interview if necessary
Review incomplete files based on program guidelines and determine missing/incomplete documents on a continuous basis
Review files with admission managers to establish contact priority
Contact applicant to review and reconfirm educational history, request outstanding application items and confirm recommender contact information. (phone call followed by email as appropriate)
Update Salesforce record with contact, including copy of email and student response if available
Offer to assist in sending emails for missing Letters of Recommendation’s
Follow up with sending institutions to confirm transcript order
Check websites for applicant scores
Notify applicant if updated document is required (e.g., blank documents, non-viewable video interview, degree conferral tracks)
Follow up with enrolled students to obtain updated/missing docs
Review conditional admit files immediately after complete date for document follow up
Work with Post Enrollment Services to ensure that conditions are satisfied and reg holds removed
Update transcript request database as needed
Things That Should Be in Your Background :
2-5 years of customer service experience
Strong attention to detail
Exceptional follow up skills
Ability to meet critical deadlines under pressure
Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at the same time
