We are currently seeking an Application Analyst to join our team! The Application Analyst performs functions to design COCC products and assists in the testing, implementation, training, and support of those designed.

Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains application knowledge in area of design
•Analyzes defects in existing software and document any corrections
•Devises product functionality based upon customer / vendor input and industry
•Composes bug fix documents and/or functional specifications related to issues and enhancements in accordance with COCC standards
•Performs unit testing of programmer’s implementation of design
•Handles customer service questions concerning regulations and/or existing industry requirements and functionality of products
•Analyzes client problems resulting in design flaws and proposes solutions
•Assists with quality assurance tasks
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field
•Experience in a banking or financial services environment is a plus
•Exposure to SQL or other programming languages a plus
•Solid analytical skills and strong attention to detail
•Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
•Self-starter with ability to interact with various levels of staff and within teams
•Strong organizational and communication skills

This position is currently recruited out of Avon, CT, however this department will be relocated in 12 months to Southington, CT.
