The Application Consultant (AC) is a member of the deployment team and is responsible for working with the customer to define a customer’s application configuration requirements to meet their business needs and providing our customers consulting and best practice guidance with regard to the Verint Applications and Retail Financial Services industry practices. This includes organizing design meetings, facilitating discussion around business requirements and conducting operational assessments. Application Consultant may also conduct training sessions.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
Conduct design sessions and consulting events on Verint Applications in accordance with the Verint Implementation Methodology.
Design and implement custom models and reports based on customer specifications.
Provide best practice, optimization and assessment consulting.
Work together with others within Verint as part of the deployment process but also to help troubleshoot as subject matter experts.
Conduct training events on Verint Applications.
Scheduled and organize events related to the Application consultancy.
Provide thorough documentation of the consultancy events and results.
Create, review and update documentation.
Configure, review and test configuration and usage of Verint Applications.
A minimum of 5 (+) years of experience working in a similar role within a large management consulting organization.
A minimum of 5 (+) years of experience managing Workforce Management Solutions.
A minimum of 4 (+) years of experience with writing MS SQL queries to include experience managing and administering SQL Server’s and configuring web-based applications in IIS.
A 4-year college degree in a related field or the equivalent years of work experience.
Working knowledge of XML and HTML.
Proven experience training and/or demonstrating to clients on Enterprise software solutions.
Consulting experience translating model and business process knowledge to clients.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC and a Social Security verification.
Successful completion of a credit check necessary for those travel-related roles that will require the candidate to obtain the appropriate credit line required to travel.
Good understanding of retail financial services (banking) environments.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
