As a member of ARGO’s solution development and customer implementation teams, Application Developer(s) participate in the full software development life cycle creating, maintaining, enhancing and implementing mission-critical software solutions for the financial services industry using a combination of internally developed and industry standard tools. You will work with development and project managers, quality assurance personnel, and product managers to develop technical design, documentation, code, and software quality unit tests.
•Debugging and defect resolution for application solutions
•Validating the performance of your deliverable meets specifications
•Working directly with customers to resolve discovered defects
•Ongoing growth and personal learning as solutions evolve
•Executing tasks within schedule timeframes, budgets and according to defined processes and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
•2 – 5 Years Structured Programming Work Experience required
•Proven programming skill developing complex applications using current generation toolsets such as Visual Basic, VB.NET, C, 4th generation languages, or similar programming languages.
•Relational Database Development required
•Ability to write standard SQL to add, retrieve, and update data from large scale RDBMS solutions. Understanding of data modeling and indexing techniques.
•n-Tier Architecture solution knowledge required
•Familiarity and understanding of multi-tier applications using distributed network infrastructure for client, application, and data tier components.
•Browser Client Application Development Experience desired
•Ability to work and collaborate in a professional, corporate, team-centric environment.
•Bachelor’s Degree required. Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Computer Engineering desirable.
•Ability to travel if required up to 20%
•Ability to work permanently in the U.S. without immediate or future sponsorship
