Responsibilities:
This person will research collect and report information on the ability and capacity of company products and
competing products.
Design solutions and generation of customized concepts to suit specific customer applications.
Track concepts through prototype and into first production runs.
Participate in providing innovative solutions to unique product applications, including customer interface.
Assist in design, test and development of products that are extruded.
Requirements:
Must have a BS in Mechanical or Plastics Engineering.
Must have Plastic processing Extrusion and Injection Molding experience.
Previous experience where function and finish is emphasized.
Must have at least 5 years experience as an Applications Engineer in a Manufacturing environment.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must be Self-motivated have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proven track record in project management involving numerous functional areas.
Must be willing to travel up to 35% nationally.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
