Position Description:
Full-time, 12-month position as the point of contact for applications to the Graduate School. Responsibilities include: assist prospective students in determining their application status, enter, update, and maintain applicant information in student database, enter and update scores for all applicants, upload all application materials into Hobsons/ImageNow, maintain accurate and complete filing system for applications including supplemental materials, update applications as supplemental materials are received, review applications for completeness and accuracy, accurately evaluate international transcripts to determine length of undergrad degree program, ensure that institution is accredited, and calculate cumulative GPA , review domestic transcripts to ensure that they are issued from a regionally-accredited institution, work in Connect CRM System to communicate with prospective students and applicants, manage communication date in Connect and build filters to send automated e-mails, participate in recruiting process and travel to recruiting events, work with the admissions team to recruit prospective students, meet with prospective students regarding programs and application materials.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor
’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business and/or Education
• 1 1/2+ years of directly related experience in an administrative office
• Experience working with graduate students or adult learners
• Willingness to travel for recruitment purposes
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to manage time and resources
• Ability to multi-task Preferred Qualifications:
• One-year of successful admission experience
• Familiarity with technology such as PeopleSoft, Image Now, and Hobson’s CRM
• Experience working in a higher education administrative office
• Strong familiarity with North Dakota State University
• Database experience
