This role is responsible for the overall health of the MyAccounts and ePay applications and addressing production incidents, responding to user requests, ensuring production quality during releases and providing ad-hoc data extracts. This role will work with other IT team members from the application development team, database administrators and infrastructure support teams to ensure applications are stable and available to customers.
Provides systems support for respective business unit. Performs duties essential to reporting and documenting system problems
Serves as the principal liaison between the business unit and Information Services for system related issues. Responsibilities include triage for first level system problems or enhancements, ad-hoc reporting, and security maintenance for internal users and customer users
Receives incident ticket, analyze problem, and identifies the problem’s root cause
Ensure batch jobs are completed per SLAs
Ensures ongoing close relationships with appropriate internal and external customers and suppliers. Performs system demos for customers, industry reports, Ad-hoc reporting, interface data, and new enhancement support. Develops program logic or analyzes and modifies logic for software, application and enterprise development using technical languages (ex: C++, Java)
Provides application software development services or technical analysis for defects and small enhancement requests
Supports application outside of normal business hours when needed including on-call responsibilities
Drafts test plans and scripts for break / fixes and new development systems changes. Executes test scripts and documents results and interfaces with end users for test input and approval
Delivers systems training for systems as needed. Writes new training materials, as required
Bachelor's Degree (or minimum 4 years of relevant work experience) in computer science or similar degree

Prefer minimum 2 years of application production support or hands-on software development experience desirable; however will consider recent graduates

Ability to work with multiple teams, including those in remote locations
Minimum 2 years of experience on at least one of the following groups of technologies (desirable for experienced candidates)
J2EE, Spring Core, Spring MVC, and Web Services,
J2EE, Spring Core, and iBatis/Hibernate/EJB 3.0/JPA
Knowledge of systems development, project management, and user acceptance testing
Exposure to Configuration management and builds tools/frameworks using one or more of the following: StarTeam, Maven, Team City, and Jenkins
Experience working with middleware technologies like JMS, ESB and MQ Series
Demonstrated experience with GWT, Sencha Touch, and Jquery Mobile
Demonstrated experience with XML, XSD, XSLT and DTD
Experience developing use cases and UML diagrams such as class, sequence, activity, and deployment diagrams
Strong team player with ability to interact with all levels of staff
Possesses organizational and project management skills
