The Application Programmer II will ensure the Application Programming developments continually enhance the effective operations of the business. They will be responsible for managing multiple projects at one time and need to develop a sound understanding of where the projects fit into the organization and how they are used. This candidate will ensure that the team is updated on all project developments and that project status is communicated to all. They will troubleshoot and resolve issues on all project work. This candidate will have experience writing technical documentation and will be able to write and document coded information and justify that information.
Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline
Experience with programming tools including: .Net C#, SQL Server and Visual Basic
3+ years full software development life cycle
3+ years Visual Basic applications
3+ years .Net
3+ years building applications reliant upon both SQL databases and Oracle databases
3-5 years programming experience
Hands on experience using VB and C# in a distributed environment
Experience programming and building systems in a transaction processing environment
Experience working in a highly secured environment, with a real understanding of encryption and data protection
Track record of operation in a changing and growing environment
Experience with UML is a plus
