Specifically at this time, we’re looking for a Worldpay Application Programmer IV
The WorldPay Application Programmer IV will ensure the application programming developments continually enhance the effective operations of the business. They will manage several projects at any one time and ensure that they are managed effectively. They must develop a sound understanding of where the projects fit into the organization and how they are to be used efficiently. They will ensure that the team is updated on all project developments and that the project statuses are communicated to all. They will perform trouble shooting and issue resolution on all project work. They should be able to write technical documentation, document coded information, and justify why. They will handle Source Code Management.
The Application Programmer III/ Java Developer III will be responsible for programming and building systems in a transaction processing environment. They should be proficient in programming tools including: Java, PL SQL, and Sequel Server. They will have a track record of operating in a changing/growth environment.
The ideal candidate has experience working in a highly secured environment, with a real understanding of encryption and data protection.
They also need to have two or more years experience in building application reliant upon both SQL and Oracle databases.
We want them to have hands on experience using application/web server- WebLogic, Tomcat, and Websphere.
Mobile application development as well as an understanding of C-Sharp and Visual Basic Library is a plus.
We would prefer them to be familiar with Spring, JQuery, Eclipse, Maven, Artifactory, and WebLogic.
The candidate must be a team player that is able to build effective relationships at all levels.
Education wise, we want them to have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
They must have strong technical skills, communication skills, logical & analytical thinking ability, and the ability to follow direction well.
