As a member of WhiteHat Security's Threat Research Center -- you will be an integral part of the group that delivers our proprietary Sentinel Service to our corporate clients. The Threat Research Center analyzes thousands of websites and applications for vulnerabilities every day, and our customers count on the Sentinel Service to find critical vulnerabilities, and enable them to fix them. As a member of this team you will work with industry leaders and some of the smartest minds in the world on software security, and help WhiteHat Customers leverage the Sentinel Service to measure and manage their application security risks across the enterprise.This Internship will not only teach you how to hunt for vulnerabilities in websites it will do so in an environment full of the top websites on the Internet today. The WhiteHat Security Intern team is critical to assisting some of the top Application Security researchers in the world in assessing the security of thousands of websites.
You will have access to thousands of well-known, famous, and mission-critical websites. Your job will be to actively root through these websites looking for all of the ways a blackhat hacker can break the software or take control of the website. This position will teach you to master the basics of web application security and secure software engineering. You will learn what it takes to become a skilled hacker and have opportunities to join the Threat Research Center full-time and advance into different positions in a rapidly growing company. This experience will also launch your career in the rapidly growing web application security industry.
