Bentley University is seeking an Application Support Analyst II to support Bentley's continued rollout of existing enterprise applications (ImageNow, Informatica, Banner), and likely new implementations (Admissions CRM, Degree Audit Summary) used to provide key services to multiple departments across the university campus. The Application Support Analyst II is responsible for working with the Administrative Computing team, and Systems and Networks to establish a robust application platform for these enterprise applications, while providing Key User support and troubleshooting for these services and their components. In this role, you must be an effective team player who works effectively across the university.

Additional Description of Duties:
In addition, he/she will provide technical leadership for installation, test and maintenance of enterprise applications in Dev/Test/Prod environments and participate in the following:

Coordinate necessary system migrations, upgrades, and service pack procedures to ensure that applications are up-to-date, secure, and reliable.

Provide support for scripts and processes that have been developed to extend application functionality.

Cross team efforts to troubleshoot and resolve application performance and other issues.

Finally, the Application Support Analyst will participate in development of service level agreements with department, vendor, and key users.

Position Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent educational background with two or more years experience supporting enterprise software applications including multiple tier application architectures, and relational databases, preferably Oracle. Knowledge of PL/SQL or SQL desirable.

Experience working in ITIL/service management focused organization desirable.

A proven ability to learn new technologies, architectures, and scripting languages is strongly preferred.

The successful incumbent will have good analytical and problem solving skills. He/she will also work equally well with both technical and non-technical customers so excellent communications and interpersonal skills are a must.
