CustomerLink is looking for an experienced Application Support Analyst to provide Tier 2 support for multiple applications, products, and services. The position requires the candidate to be self-motivated, results-oriented, and efficient. The candidate should have strong technical support experience for software applications and proficiency with SQL. Excellent communication skills, ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment, and a positive attitude are imperative.

Responsibilities Include
  • Provide Tier 2 technical application and systems support requiring a detailed knowledge of home-grown applications, databases, and products & services.
  • Analyze and escalate defects and Tier 3 support requests to the Development Team using established processes and tools.
  • Assist with testing and deployment of products/enhancements as required.
  • Monitor production applications and systems.
  • Accurately document and track support issues and resolutions while proactively identifying trends and enhancement opportunities.
  • Analyze user/customer requests and develop work-around solutions or recommend system enhancements to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Discuss and explain solutions to internal users and clients with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and professionalism.
Requirements Include
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting both web-based and batch/back-end applications
  • Fluency with SQL
  • Experience with and knowledge of database structures, dependencies and data manipulation
  • Experience with producing reports using SQL and Crystal Reports a plus
  • Experience participating in software development life cycle a plus
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to understand complex application and database architectures, processes, and data dependencies
  • Experience with UNIX
  • Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and prioritize effectively in a fun, fast-paced, and high-pressure operations environment
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with non-technical end-users/customers, as well as IT professionals
