An Application Support Analyst works in a challenging, fast paced environment requiring flexibility, problem-solving and adaptability. The position is key to the ongoing implementation, optimization and support of Mercy healthcare delivery systems. Responsibilities may include training, go-live and post go-live support, assisting with system development, design, testing and operational support as needed. This position will work with end-users; including clinicians, and workflow as defined by the Information Services Manager. Requires a high degree of professionalism, self motivation and teamwork. Also requires some travel to Mercy facilities.Performs related duties as assigned. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.
Education: High School or equivalent.
Experience: Bachelors degree in an applicable field or four years experience in health care as a professional with strong computer skills and knowledge.
Other: Computer literate with competency in use of Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office applications. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. Capable of teamwork when required but able to be creative and independent when required. This position requires a highly organized and detail oriented individual. Good communication and writing skills a must.
Education: Bachelors degree in a healthcare field.
Experience: Healthcare and/or training and development experience.
