The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an Application Support Manager to join its Application Services team in the Information Technology division. This leader is faced with the challenge of designing, monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting large services that deliver critical business capabilities. A success criterion for this position includes the ability to describe the services and maximize the efficiency of integrated applications with an emphasis on long-term maintenance, sustainability, and performance. This manager will demonstrate effective leadership by challenging the status quo, influencing others to think more strategically and motivating others to continually improve the performance of the organization.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of information technology experience with an emphasis on IT service management plus at least 5 years of programming experience.
Certified ITIL v3 skilled in Incident/Problem Management and Service Design and Service Transition highly desirable
Platform administration skills helpful: BizTalk, SQL Server, Dynamics Crm, SharePoint, IIS.
Protocol knowledge helpful: HTTP, SOAP, SMTP, MSRPC, TCP/IP, DNS
Ability to create a culture of leadership and mentor front-line and tier 2 support for effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis techniques.
Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Excellent technical architecture and technical support documentation skills.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to effectively handle conflicts that may arise with teammates and customers.
Ability to keep up with industry trends on multiple products and platforms.
