Are you a skilled and selfmotivated IT professional with a passion for Applications Do you love to work with the latest coolest leadingedge technology If you answered yes then perhaps this is the opportunity for you As an Application Systems Analyst at you will work closely with IT counterparts on delivering technical solutions to meet the needs across several applications and functions partnering with IT application counterparts to lead the design implementation and maintenance of largecomplex application infrastructures You will work closely with project teams to understand requirements and then ensure the completion of the design sizing build and deployment of infrastructure components according to project timelines Proactively manage system capacity for application hardware Conduct trending analysis in support of capacity and performance planning objectives Ensure the identification implementation and management of application monitoring requirements Serve as the point of escalation for application infrastructure problems and leads all application disaster recovery planning and test activities Lead application software and hardware installations and work with IT network and system counterparts on the successful delivery of required components and also lead costbenefit studies for application infrastructure components Serve as infrastructure point of contact for application delivery team and develops work plans with the corresponding network and system resources for infrastructure related changes You will review all technical documentation and responsible for migrating application code to TestStage and Production environments Ensure conformance to system architecture methods standards and practices and participate in their creation Anticipate and proactively remove obstacles that slow down or prevent IT infrastructure resources from delivering on project objectives Requirements Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience 10+ years progressively responsible related experience including 10 years of experience implementing and supporting large scale technically complex COTS and custom web applications US Citizenship Up to 25 travel Demonstrated understanding of information technology practices and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experience with the following Linux RedHat Enterprise (RHEL) VMWare ESX SAN Apache Tomcat Java Application Servers Web Servers JBOSS Servers Firewalls Security MySQL Oracle Database Networking Network Management HTML XML and Database apps Enterprise Systems Management (ESM) tool suite experience Must have supported Linux and Windows in an enterprise environment Proficiency in use of PC and related software (Excel PowerPoint Project Visio Word) Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to make both highlevel presentations and detailed technical work plans is a leader in providing practical solutions for difficult Networking problems brings a unique mix of communications networking and security expertise to offer secure networking solutions for satellite and terrestrial communications applications continues to grow at a record pace with all business areas benefitting A key to the company s growth and stability has been its flexibility in serving both commercial and military markets Join team and help to continue growth and leadership in Secure Network Solutions Our corporate headquarters in Carlsbad is just a hop and skip away from the beautiful Pacific Coast The campus feeling and entrepreneurial spirit can be felt in the hallways as well as the sand volleyball courts Be exceptional be a part of the team take a couple minutes to submit your resume We ll send you an automated response to let you know it has been received and someone from the recruiting group will follow up with you if there is a possible match
