The position of Applications Analyst (Centricity Applications) has recently become available within Revenue Management Solutions (RMS).

Under the direction of the Applications Manager – Centricity Applications, incumbent performs various functions related to daily support of the GE Centricity Business applications for multiple external ASP clients and the McKesson RCO billing office.

This position will:

Collection and analysis of data from the implementation of Billing and Account Receivable (BAR), Security Plus (SEC+), Registration (REG), and Paperless Collection System (PCS) to ensure system compliance and maximization of features. This will include the production of reports to substantiate the data analysis

The analyst will provide programming and functional support for the following Centricity modules:
  • Billing and Accounts Receivable (BAR)
  • Transaction Editing System (TES)
  • Ingenix ClaimsManager
  • Enterprise Scheduling (SCHED)
  • Enterprise Task Manager (ETM)
  • Screen Form Generator
  • Security Plus (SEC+)
  • PC Exchange (PCX Upload Utility)
  • Advanced Web Framework
  • Payer Contract Module (PCM)
  • Database Management System (DBMS)
  • eCommerce (EDI – claims, ERAs, and Eligibility)
  • Enterprise Document Management (EDM)
  • Enterprise Scheduler (ESI – Job control automation)
  • Real Time and Batch HL7 Interfaces

Maintenance of system dictionaries and the programming of screens, reports, form letters and other system features requiring edits on a regular basis

Project management for medium to large scale support and implementation projects in support of Centricity Business.

Develop testing plans and testing scenarios to be used as new features/fixes are added to the system, hardware changes, or issues that require signoff on software functionality.

Develop functional requirements for application fixes and enhancements; determine resources required level of effort estimates and status tracking.

Follow protocol for user notification of system issues (scheduled or unscheduled downtime, new information, etc.)

Write supporting documentation and procedures for system changes, modifications, and day-to-day operations

Subject matter expert on Centricity Business from technology & functionality perspective (BAR, interfaces & extracts) and is expected to continually be gaining technical knowledge on these systems. Able to conduct activities per the experience requirements.

Works with Applications Manager – Centricity Applications as needed to establish new clients.

Assume on-call responsibilities as assigned (includes 24/7 support during assigned period)

Travel as needed to client sites and McKesson RCO billing offices (less than 25%)

4+ years experience in software engineering

At least 4 years experience of strong working knowledge in the following:
  • Revenue Cycle Processes
  • PCS (Paperless Collection System)/ETM
  • BSYSGEN setup utility
  • Centricity Business data structures & data dictionaries
  • DBMS - specific Centricity Business query language
  • Security plus application
  • EDI Toolkit
  • Interface technology (inbound & outbound)- eg Connect R, Datagate, Cloverleaf
  • HL7 & other interfaces
  • Screen Form Generator
  • Claim Form Generator
  • Encounter Form Generator
  • Flowcast Web Framework
  • AES-Application Editing Software
  • System Interface Utility
  • Provide Tier 2 programming support for Centricity modules
  • Project Management for installation and support projects
  • Train, develop, and mentor Applications Analysts L1 and trainee staff
  • On call support
  • Sales support

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
