The Applications Development Associate (Integration Data Modeler) is responsible for assisting in the definition of a canonical data model for enterprise data integration messages and schemas in a canonical data modeling tool.
General knowledge of XSD, relational database design concepts, object-oriented design concepts, and Microsoft Excel skills are required.
He/she must have the ability to understand data translation mapping specifications between message types such as EDI to XML. The successful candidate will collaborate with Data Integration Architects, Business Analysts, Data Modelers and Application developers to identify and define data requirements and integration needs that meet business solutions. They will be responsible for assisting the Lead Data Modeler in interpreting data requirements to create canonical model objects such as elements, complex types and data mappings. They will also be responsible to manage canonical data model objects within the canonical data modeling tool. Finally, they will work with the Lead to write SQL to extract and analyze data to/from various systems.
Strong coordination, verbal and written communication skills a must.

The desired Applications Development Associate will possess a degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related field or the equivalent in education and work experience.
