We are currently seeking an Applications Engineer to perform basic to moderately complex range of technical assistance to ensure the proper selection and application of company products and accessories. This assistance directly supports all sales activities for Flygt sales personnel. Key duties include but are not limited to: Provide technical support for preparation of bids and proposals, assist with technical seminars for benefit of sales personnel and customers, coordinate technical support for large projects with other Flygt offices or departments, provide field engineering support, troubleshooting and re-design as necessary, and review and comment on ancillary systems, components or accessories required or utilized in various pumping applications.

Required Experience:
Requires four year degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil Engineering preferred), and a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in related field. Knowledge of AutoCAD is required. A professional engineering license is preferred. In addition, qualified candidates should possess fundamental knowledge of engineering principles and shall demonstrate proficient problem solving techniques, attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
