Provides technical oversight and management of the University's electronic building access control system and primary building surveillance camera system; establishes hardware, software, configuration, and system use standards based on defined requirements; provides ongoing technical system support to University staff authorized to use the systems; coordinates the development and implementation of system disaster recovery procedures; supports the specialized University Police technologies and systems; ensures that systems adhere to University security standards and requirements; and participates in the research and planning of future divisional information technology needs.
Bachelor's degree in management information systems (MIS), computer science, computer information systems or related field.
At least one year of software administration experience required. Working knowledge of IP data network concepts; experience with the selection and application of information technology security strategies and techniques; experience with Microsoft Windows 7 or greater operating system; and experience troubleshooting hardware-related issues also required.
Experience with surveillance camera systems, building access control systems, Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, and knowledge of systems in support of police operations preferred.
