Responsible for the implementation and utilization of information systems required for patient care / operational initiatives for all service lines. Provides technical training and support to end users.

Facilitate the implementation of information systems related to patient care / operations for acquisitions during the integration phase. This includes leading the file maintenance build, testing, training, go-live and support process during the transition, as well as coordination of schedules, creation of agendas and updates to training manuals.

Provide guidance and support to branch personnel during the kick off, set up, validation and implementation phases for the transition to WILLCARE’s clinical information system(s).

Analyze and run reports to pull statistical data that will benefit those requiring an understanding of the productivity and progress of an implementation.

Analyze and run reports to pull statistical data that will evaluate the accurate, effeciate and consistent usage of the software systems. Identify trends for re-education, enhancement or further evaluation.

Teach classes of clinicians, supervisors, office support / clerical and management-level employees how to use our clinical information system both in the office and in the field.

Conduct training sessions to create “Super Users” in each branch, both from a clinical perspective and an office perspective.

Plan and host webinars to train and/or reeducate employees on aspects of understanding the clinical and office functionality of the clinical information system.

Manage system upgrades / new releases including system file structure maintenance, testing, debugging and communication.

Manage helpdesk tickets relating to clinical application systems. Provide technical support via phone, web and/or in person for efficient and effective problem resolution for end users. Function within the IT Helpdesk process for resolution of high level issues regarding HCHB and/or other clinical/operations systems. Work collaboratively with the support staff at HCHB and/or other clinical/operations system to resolve issues related to the software functionality.

Conduct training sessions to create Advanced users related to the maintenance of the core building blocks for HCHB and/or other clinical/operations systems: workflow documents, service code maintenance, assessments and problem statements. Maintain current documentation of the core building blocks for each system. Implement changes as requested by Leadership/CORE team.

Participate in the documentation of clinical and business work flows as it relates to the clinical information system.

Maintain and update all clinical information training materials including participant manuals, visuals, power points, and hand outs.

Participate in organization initiatives as it relates to the evaluation of new clinical and or operational applications or vendors.


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or related experience.

Minimum of two years of experience in a health care organization.

Experience with Homecare Homebase software is strongly preferred.

Proven ability to lead by example and foster mentoring relationships.

Outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking and presentation skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Ability to create momentum and foster organizational change.
