We currently have a part time position (20 hours per week; day and evening) in our Bettendorf clinic for an Radiologic Technologist. The responsibilites of this position are as follows: Prepares patients for x-ray procedures and performs x-ray exams, while producing the highest quality images as quickly as exam and patient conditions will allowScreens and identifies fragility fractures and schedules bone density and osteoporosis evaluations per protocolAccess other facilities websites to obtain images for physicians and staff Inspects exam rooms for cleanliness and equipment condition; stocks and maintains exam rooms with adequate supplies Job Qualifications: Knowledge of x-ray equipment, including safety hazards common to radiologyKnowledge of medical terminologyKnowledge of personal computer applications and Electronic Medical RecordAbility to lift up to 50lbs and assist in lifting patients up to 300lbsExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with patients, families, and staff from diverse backgroundsCandidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a Radiologic Technology program approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, and license in practicing state(s) required.
