• Excellent working knowledge of building architecture, design, construction practices and constructability issues

• Excellent working knowledge of trends in architecture, interior design, fixturing and applicability to theatre projects

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Autocad

• Good leadership / management skills

• Ability to foster creativity and innovation with more pragmatic considerations such as cost control, project schedule and ongoing maintenance implications to the theatre facility

• Manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture including Registration as Licensed Architect

• 10 years of on-the-job training

• 10-to 15-years of experience working independently as an Architect, or in an architectural firm managing the design and construction of projects, preferably entertainment related and considered to be public assembly spaces
