Function: Candidate will be responsible for over-all deployment, design, and requirements of all web/television product solutions. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain, develop, and design systems using modern programming such as TDD and DDD along with technologies ranging from Linux/Unix, Java, C#, C/C++ and PHP. Ensure successful delivery of key projects to meet business objectives you will be Partnering with multi-disciplinary teams of business operations, product management, 3rd party vendors, and cross-functional developers. Lead the design and development of the companys TV Broadcast products including our on-screen audio offerings Assess needs, specify requirements, problem solving, and being a team player.
Qualifications: BS in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience. Experience in leading high performance system architectures. Proficient in C, C++, Java, SQL and PHP. Proficient in Solaris, Linux, and Windows environments. Proficient in at least one major scripting language such as Perl, Python or Ruby Solid knowledge of web services and integration with RESTful and SOAP web services. Working knowledge of Microsoft .NET technologies including C# a plus. Experience with high transaction, mission critical systems with no tolerance for downtime required. Proficient in project and resource management. Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities. Work in a fast-paced continual learning environment. Requires independent education with the ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies to solve business issues. Ability to positively influence people both internally and externally. Ability to translate business objectives into programming initiatives and requirements Must have strong communication abilities to articulate technology-based decision.
