As an Architect at Telenav, you will be charged with creating, leading, designing and implementing the technical vision for innovative products and services across the Engineering organization. Working closely with Product Managers and Engineering Leads, you will leverage your deep knowledge in highly-scalable systems to design truly innovative mobile solutions in a variety of domains while incorporating the agility and flexibility in the design to accommodate the rapid changes of the technology landscape. In this role, you’ll be working on delivering end-to-end applications as part of our core product portfolio – working with mobile technologies, internet-scale middleware and big data technologies in our backend. Your agility to be able to traverse these boundaries makes you the go-to person for developing cohesive and comprehensive solutions to these challenges.
Your list of skills includes:
7+ years of direct hands-on design and development experience in preferably Java, C++ or other Object Oriented Languages
3+ years of architecture and design skills - OO analysis and Design Patterns
3+ years of leading a team of developers to develop and deploy services
3+ years of design and development of extremely high volume mission-critical applications and systems
Superior communication skills in writing technical documentation and communicating designs
Strong database skills including schema design, query design and persistence frameworks.
Experience with running in a horizontally distributed Linux-based production environment
Proven ability to influence engineering peers and management
