We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to lead our sales strategy in the San Francisco District, which includes Reno and Sacramento. Located in San Francisco, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall effectiveness of our field sales organization through active and aggressive recruiting, resource deployment, training, individual coaching and development, and effective pipeline management. You will lead and guide an assigned sales team to win business and grow market share. The ideal candidate will oversee sales revenue generation as well as profit and/or expense objectives in the Area District.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, preferably in Logistics or Transportation.
5 -10+ years of experience consisting of commercial, logistics or supply chain industry required; to include at least 3 – 5 + years of sales management experience.
MS Office Suite, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; MS Access and SharePoint preferred.
Highly organized, detail oriented, thorough analytical – strong data analysis, experienced at delivering effective presentations.
Good communicator, good integrator between department and hierarchy levels, mediator.
Project management & presentation skills, training aptitude.
Adaptable to dynamic work environment, multitasking skills, works autonomously. Previous P&L experience preferred.
