JOB SUMMARY : Oversees the day-to-day activities and business development of the assigned regional business (Johnstown, PA). Area Supervisors play an important role in the organization to increase overall profitability by motivating and assisting employees within their region to be successful in their role. Provides operational planning input for the regional operations, and report progress and results to regional management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Operational Responsibilities · Provide supervision and direction to assigned workforce (security officers). · Provides oversight to the quality of processes and execution of interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; and providing leadership on a daily basis to employees within their regions. · Has direct overall responsibility for scheduling and ensuring accurate timesheet submission (via Vision/Valiant system). · Responsible to ensure licensing and labor law compliance on a first line level.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : · Security Officers
- Will, at times, be called upon to work shifts at various locations in their area.
- Will be trained in order to perform all the job duties at all of the accounts.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : · These managers are required to be familiar with the concepts, practices, and procedures of the organization they work for and must have a demonstrated ability to lead and direct employees. · At least one (1) years of experience in contract security. · At least one (1) years of experience in loss prevention. · Willing and able to travel, as needed · H. S. Degree or equivalent · Effective team player with strong interpersonal communication skills · Strong customer and results orientation · Proactive and effective communication skills both internal and client facing, including demonstrated presentation skills · Demonstrated leadership skills and initiative · Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures · Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and Word and Excel REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: · Valid driver’s license
