A fantastic and unique opportunity has arisen for an Area Vice President,

Sales, East. We’re looking to hire an experienced enterprise software leader. The AVP will be charged with building thought leadership with strategic enterprise accounts in the East region. The ideal candidate will have a love for social media, technology and creating and managing connections.

Play a key role as you lead this highly visible and motivated team that generates revenues and achieves individual, team and organizational quotas. You'll be a valuable contributor to the enterprise sales strategy, specific while providing definition and implementation of the plan for Sales to achieve corporate objectives.

Responsibilities:
·

Lead and drive overall sales strategy to develop and close new business within key global strategic accounts

·

Supporting direct reports by participating and leading in client meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required

·

Ongoing mentoring and development of sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new Sales Managers and Account Executives on the Marketing Cloud -

Conducting weekly forecast meetings.

·

Coach direct reports regarding key account strategies to drive closure

·

Reporting on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management

·

Consistently monitors the sales activity of the team, and tracking the results

·

Aligns and leverages internal resources to build, develop, and close strategic account wins

Required Skills:
·

10+ years of enterprise software sales experience in an individual contributor and management role

·

7+ years sales management experience – 2

nd

line management required

·

Proven record of sales success in a similar enterprise software application environment. Background in selling social/digital technology

·

Demonstrated success in building strategic customer relationships at the C level

·

Excellent presentation and communication skills

·

Must be able to thrive in a very fast paced environment

·

Ability to hire and train new sales representatives
