SUMMARY OF PURPOSE:
The Area Vice President will act as the primary liaison between assigned Physician Partnerships and HealthTronics. Providing

leadership in the planning, organizing, and communicating of every business aspect of each of the Partnerships in accordance

with identified Company goals to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations with maximum profitability. Directing and

coordinating the activities of the organization in the promotion of services performed to increase market share and obtain a

competitive position in the industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provides first point of HealthTronics contact for all Partnership issues and activities for Physician Partnerships assigned.

Analyzes, researches, and defines market for growth within the assigned Partnerships.

Develops marketing plans, sales strategies and action plans for identified targets of opportunity that clearly define objectives, goals, schedules and action assignments.

Within the assigned Partnerships, assists in the implementation of Companywide strategies and objectives to ensure the achievement of Company goals.

Builds and maintains positive relationships with physician partners.

Coordinates with clinical operations through departmental interface for smooth work flow and cost efficient service delivery.

Reviews performance reports and financial statements with each Partnership to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.

Guides assigned Partnerships in understanding Partnership performance and the means to continue to improve patient care and optimize Partnership financial performance.

Works in collaboration with the corporate staff in the development, recruitment and syndication of new Partnerships with the appropriate business development staff.

Works collaboratively with operations management to ensure successful transitions in the operations of the region as partnership dynamics change.

Performs other work related duties as assigned.

Promote the uses of new technologies and use of Partnership equipment to Partnerships.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university in finance, management or related field.

Management and financial analysis.

Maintain and complete current HIPAA training and requirements.

Minimum 5 years experience in consulting/financial analysis within a medical/technical field/industry. Ideally, within medical technology, medical services or physician services.

Proficient in a variety of sales/consulting/management concepts, practices and procedures.

Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Demonstrating strengths in the area of conflict management and incorporate varying partner views into solution generation.

Proven ability to facilitate and present effective presentations to individuals and group environments.

Moderate understanding of financial management including the ability to translate financial goals into actions plans for the partnerships they serve.

Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to interact successfully with peers, physicians, executives, clients, and staff at all levels within the company.

Must have excellent time management skills.

Computer literacy is essential.

Willingness to travel extensively for given periods of time.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary to handle sensitive, confidential situations and interact professionally and courteously with physicians and company employees.

Must be able to communicate effectively by telephone, e-mail and in person with customers, co-workers and supervisors.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Strong analytical reasoning skills are required.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
