The ARNP is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of illness, and the delivery of evidence-based nursing interventions for the cardiology population. Works in collaboration with the physicians, management team, peers and staff to advance nursing and promote the development of an evidence-based professional practice environment. Works to continually improve clinical outcomes, facilitate throughput, and provide clinical expertise to effect system-wide changes to improve programs of care. Experienced clinical expert with outstanding teaching skills and the ability to facilitate organizational change.
Master’s degree or PhD in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
Licensure as a Physician’s Assistant or Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
Minimum two (2) years clinical experience required, at least one (1) year of which must have been in a specialty area of care.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers issued by the American Heart association and Advanced Cardiac Life Support are required.
