** The position is available in either San Diego, LA or Foster City. Sony Computer Entertainment America is looking for an exceptionally talented Art Director to become an integral member of our team, who will be working on the next generation of PlayStation titles and IPs. This unique opportunity is a chance to be part of a new group within one of the world’s top entertainment companies.
        Responsibilities: Responsible for the design and creation of key art, style-boards, UI, title sequences, branding and pitch documents across the PlayStation portfolio of games Will interface directly and work closely with our creative and production teams, as well as the larger PlayStation group Will be responsible for working with our internal development teams, marketing and external ad agencies - often taking the creative lead Required to have a highly organized and flexible approach to creative tasks and are very used to delivering to given deadlines and under pressure Must be a team player and thrive in a collaborative and fast paced creative environment. Exhibits clear communication skills and take on direction and feedback with ease and gust Must hold traditional design capabilities in high regard and have excellent typography, layout and composition skills, combined with first-class graphic design expertise and conceptual thinking Must have an excellent creative awareness and significant interest within visual effects, motion graphics, film and games Deep understanding of Adobe software packages, with an emphasis on Photoshop and Illustrator, 3D and video/mograph workflows a good working knowledge of MS Office and Apple applications Above all you this person needs to be enthusiastic and passionate about what he/she does Will need to provide portfolio with proven examples of his/her abilities across multiple projects, clients and style Preferred Skills/Experience: Bachelors an arts/design related degree or equivalent At least 6 years of creative/design/agency experience Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC (SCEA) is responsible for keeping PlayStation ® growing and thriving in the United States, Canada and Latin America.
