The Art Director, reporting to the Manager, Creative and Production will be responsible for the branding, visual appearance and usability of the company’s marketing communications materials and e-marketing activities ensuring that brand continuity and design integrity is maintained. The Senior Art Director will interface with cross-functional and cross-departmental teams in order to meet deliverable expectations as well as ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Align with company leadership, marketing and product management to define visual brand strategy, delivering innovative approaches to increase brand awareness, and applying branding visuals across a broad product line.
  • Develop, manage, communicate and train organization on branding and identity strategy. Develop effective design strategy that can solve the business needs
  • Manage and maintain extremely high design standards from internal marketing communications and design teams as well as external agencies
  • Interact with branding personnel across the company to ensure consistency and compatibility of programs and strategy
  • Maintain a set of global brand templates for fixed marketing assets
  • Manage adoption of brand templates and standards across multiple business units / divisions
  • Assist internal and external design resources with implementing / executing brand standard
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
  • At least seven (7) years of broad print and online design experience
  • Evidence of producing corporate templates and brand libraries with successful deployment on a global scale
  • Able to work effectively as part of a busy central team while interacting with, and influencing, virtual teams
  • Must work effectively and professionally with internal cross-functional/divisional teams and outside entities
  • Must be organized, with a proactive nature and excellent follow up skills
  • Ability to solve complex or routine problems effectively and react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround
  • Must be decisive yet tactful, driven yet considerate
  • Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to make good, timely decisions in a fast-paced, time-constrained environment
  • Ability to perform day-to-day tasks for many simultaneous ongoing project
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
  • Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with design review processes
  • Demonstrate mastery-level skills with Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat,), and MS Office applications (specifically PowerPoint); ability to quickly learn, use and/or troubleshoot other necessary technologies
  • Experience with Flash, HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and other Web technologies
  • Demonstrate excellent prioritization and organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise judgment, problem solve and drive projects forward
