Summary: Person will be the most senior "hands-on" designer other than creative director. Primary role is directing art and design for food service marketing and sales team members. Responsible for generating original ideas based on creative brief from clients. Must have the ability to quickly gain understanding of a project target, goals then submit and execute viable design solutions. Person is involved in all aspects of a design project-input, concept generation, creative research, managing timelines, printing, as well as briefing creative director and brand manager on status of projects. Must have the ability to work under pressure and handle tight timelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Requires broad knowledge in general professional or technical field. Knowledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an academic field directly related and essential to the job being evaluated.

Experience: 5 years prior experience as an art director.

Computer Skills: Requires intermediate computer skills which may include using graphic software to create sophisticated publications or promotional materials; must be proficient in Macintosh computers using Adobe Creative Suite-Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Digital Publishing Suite experience.

Travel: 5 to 9 domestic trips per year.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position is responsible for supervising personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
