The Art Technology Support Coordinator: manages, maintains and facilitates repair of digital equipment in the Department of Art; oversees the department's "print room" and digital equipment cage; researches new and existing technologies that are relevant to teaching and creating art; assists art faculty in their application/understanding of relevant technologies; and acts as an interface between the studio art department and the campus IT.
Knowledge of Macintosh computers. Knowledge of hardware peripherals (printers, scanners, projectors, etc.). Knowledge of image-based software (i.e. Photoshop). Must possess superior interpersonal skills, be an effective communicator (written and verbal), be effective at organizing and managing a variety of tasks, and be a skilled, independent problem-solver. Must also possess good research skills, and demonstrate an engaged interest in creative art practice. Minimum degree requirements: Associates degree or equivalent.
Bachelors degree and 2 yr. minimum work experience in related field.
