Simraceway is an online multi-player racing simulation focused on creating highly realistic driving experiences, incorporating a wide range of real-world licensed cars, tracks and racing categories.
The Art Team is seeking a 3D Artist on a contract/part-time basis. The role entails working on a variety of projects while providing aid in creating 3D vehicle and track models for our game.
Creating high quality 3D assets
Be willing to learn (and teach) new tools and techniques
Take art direction and closely follow art and design concepts
Be meticulous and organized in the approach to tasks, adhering to pipeline workflow
Take ownership for tasks assigned, be accountable for work, and follow through
Can handle shifting schedules, set priorities, and handle multiple projects with team support

Experience Required: amiliar with software utilized: 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, MAYA, Zbrush
3D modeling & UV layout skills (MAX, or Maya) and experience with Photoshop
2D ability to paint highly detailed texture maps (Diffuse, Normal, Spec, AO, etc.)
Excellent knowledge of design basics (low poly modeling, modeling real world locations, objects and props, etc.)
Knowledgeable in cars, racing series and history of motorsport
Previous experience with racing games or knowledge of gMotor2 preferred
Excellent communication skills
