Fit and assemble fabricated metal parts, sub-assemblies, hydraulic and electrical components into finished products in accordance with specifications and custormer orders. Assembler III is fully trained, qualified, and competent in hydraulic and mechanical assemblies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Position parts according to blueprints and standard work.
Properly torque all fasteners according to specs.
Set engine speeds, pump flows, set and adjust valves to proper settings.
Respoonsible for total quality of work performed.
Completes necessary paperwork, including inspection, check sheets, and packing slips.
Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Educational and/or Experience Requirements:
Vocational or high school graduate preferred. Courses in mathematics, mechanical drawing, shop practices and other industrial arts courses preferred. One to three years of general assembly experience required to acquire necessary skills and knowledge of assembly techniques and procedures.
Safety Requirements: Must be willing to wear all required PPE including safety glasses, face shield, safety shoes with metatarsal protection, hearing protection, forklift training, and hearing testing.
Willing to work overtime as needed.
