The Assembler is responsible for standing on an assembly line and performing handwork, such as assembly, bow-tie, stocking, box folding, gluing and packaging.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensuring that production quota is met and safety rules are adhered to by remaining on the assembly line and producing quality work for up to 8 hours per day
Some duties include repetitive bending over, picking up boxes, opening up boxes, taking out product to be positioned onto the lines
Precise positioning of labels, stickers, wrap or film will be essential for producing high levels of quality
Ability to be able to count and remember Quantities needed for projects and the ability to repetitively provide the same amount for each and every unit at very high volumes
Those eligible to apply for this position will have spent some time working on the assembly line as a temporary associate and therefore will have received the training necessary for the position.
Must be able to lift or pull up to 50lbs without restrictions
Must be able to work in varying facility conditions
Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
