Brief Job Summary: Oversee one production line of 8-16 employees and the quality of products produced with knowledge of the operations of equipment and continually follow-through with procedures and policies.
Essential Job Functions :
Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are followed.
Must follow and use all sanitation procedures. Steadily improve sanitation and awareness of personal hygiene.
Observe and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
Maintain efficiency levels at or above the expected rate.
Reduce the percentage of rejects from production lines; reduce the meat scraps from meat slicers through better and thorough understanding and operation of the equipment.
Operate machines – thread film through appropriate locations, adjust machine mechanics to reduce waste, maintain production and efficiency levels, and check mechanics of the machine to ensure proper readiness and sanitation.
Oversee rework of rejects
Build a sense of team work
Demonstrate continuous follow-through regarding new procedures and policies.
Oversee production and quality of sandwiches produced
Foresee needs on the line – prepare the line for supplies and changeover, move/shift employees as needed
May be required to perform repetitive line operations to mass-produce quality sandwiches.
May be assigned to different workstations or other duties as production needs require. May be designated to other locations according to need.
