We have an opportunity for an Assembly Maintenance Supervisor to support the Primary Plastics Operations, located in Grandview, MO.
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT MWV
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for:
Managing and directing the daily, weekly and monthly activities of a group of mechanics and skilled technicians.
Providing a vision for maintaining equipment, that leads to minimal unscheduled outages.
Providing a broad scope of responsibility including Maintenance, Safety, ISO, and Quality.
Providing daily leadership in regards to supervising and continuously improving our current preventive maintenance program and future scheduled maintenance(T.E.A.M or TPR).
Working with Manufacturing Supervisors and Automaton Engineers on a regular basis to address their needs effectively and efficiently.
Performing other related duties as required for the efficient
Operation of the department, or as directed by the manager.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Must have proven hands-on manufacturing experience and offer problem-solving resources in the maintenance environment.
Excellent problem solving skills and knowledge of maintenance functions.
Ability to plan, schedule and lead multiple projects to completion with firm dates.
Proven leadership ability to effectively supervise a 24/7 department.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Above average mathematical ability.
Strong computer skills.
4 year degree.
Minimum of five years’ experience in the maintenance field or equivalent.
