This job reports to the Production Supervisor/Manager .

Relocation is not provided and travel is not required.

This is a Full-Time position .

Overview
These are Full-Time Temporary Positions

Job Skills/Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Closely follow supervisory and engineering directions.
2. Understand and perform measurement down to 1/8 length.
3. Prepare components for stuffing circuit boards; stuff circuit boards using appropriate tools and fixtures.
4. Prepare wires and cables as required for wiring harness, cable assemblies, jumpers, and related assemblies. This includes
proper stripping, tinning, and attaching of crimps to wires and cable
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Closely follow supervisory and engineering directions.
2. Understand and perform measurement down to 1/8 length.
3. Prepare components for stuffing circuit boards; stuff circuit boards using appropriate tools and fixtures.
4. Prepare wires and cables as required for wiring harness, cable assemblies, jumpers, and related assemblies. This includes
proper stripping, tinning, and attaching of crimps to wires and cables.
5. Understand and perform proper soldering techniques and acceptable solder standards.
6. Assemble mechanical parts using miscellaneous hand tools and soldering irons.
7. Perform visual inspections of soldered parts, assembled parts and circuit boards. Rework as required.
8. Operate various mechanical and test equipment such as wire stripping machine, component formers, drill press, surface mount machine, lead trimmers, vacuum pump, voltage tester, etc.
9. Read and understand work orders and assembly drawings.
10. Record all pertinent assembly and process information as required.
11. Log pertinent process information for engineering when required.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Use various cleaning solutions including but not limited to acetone, isopropyl alcohol, and solder flux.
2. Expedite tests to facilitate troubleshooting of quality and production problems, and comply with changes in assembly specifications.
3. Transport product, equipment, and paperwork through the facility as needed.
4. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
5. Accurately report daily production and labor.
6. Perform other related duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Position requires ability to use most hand tools properly such as electric drivers, grinders, drills, taps, soldering iron,
wrenches, screwdrivers, cutters, pliers, and hammers.
2. Position requires ability to work with chemicals such as acetone, isopropyl alcohol, and solder flux.
3. Position requires use of both hands to hold and assemble small parts, as well as grasp fine precision
tools.
4. Position requires handling of assemblies, fixtures, parts, and equipment up to forty pounds.
5. Position requires standing, bending, stooping, grasping, pinching, and reaching motions, as well as extended periods of sitting.
6. Position requires lifting of fixtures, parts, and equipment of up to forty pounds.
7. Gloves and safety glasses may be required in this position.
8. Position requires good vision and color acuity.

Education Requirements
- High School Diploma
